  Overview:
Tabitha Development Society (TDS) a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the societies act in the year 2004. (TDS) has engaged in rural development with a mandate to educate, inspire, equip and facilitate people living in poverty, homelessness, child labor, exploitation and epidemics in partnership with organizations and individuals in the social sector. TDS has a history of promoting voluntary action, planned rural reconstruction with local participation and Panchayat Raj thereby addressing issues of poverty reduction. Excellent micro-planning and strong networking are its strengths. The primary populations are DALITS and TRIBALS who live among degraded hills where there is widespread poverty, unemployment, bare access to minimum needs, social oppression, injustice, corruption, exploitation and the overarching threat of Naxalite violence.

TDS promotes, strengthens, works along with the local Community Based Organizations (CBOs) through Area Development Boards (ADB) at cluster level and Village Development Committees (VDC) at village level. Through these institutes TDS concentrates on the empowerment of women, youth, children and elders utilizing the Panchayat Raj Institutions by involving the local administration.








  Old Age Home Program:
Tabitha Development Society (TDS) has established an old age home in Bhimavaram town in Andhra Pradesh in the year 2006.Currently we are providing accommodation to the old people up to 40 members and will continue to admit more in the following years.

We provide medical assistance to all the beneficiaries with the help of donors. The Unique feature of TDS is that we take care of our beneficiaries till their last breath with utmost care and medical assistance.

We conduct devotional programs and cultural activities during Independence Day , Republic Day etc. At the time of annual day function We invite government officials, donors, NGOs who provided support for the further development of our society.

Orphanage Program:
Tabitha Development Society (TDS) is in the process of establishing a new orphanage home for homeless children which has been registered in the name of Mana foundation which is planned to be completed and become operational by the end of 2018.

A day at MANA foundation means a fun filled day, a chance to attend school, avail medical facilities, assurance of wholesome meal. MANA aims at overall development of children and make them ready to face the tough world outside.

AIMS:

  • To give proper counselling, Guidance, Protection from exploitation and to promote entrepreneurship.

NURSING SERVICES:
TDS provides nursing service which aims at satisfying the nursing needs of the inmates. In nursing services, we take complete care of the individual till the last breath. Nursing function aims to restore the inmates to best possible physical and mental state.

Life Time Service:
TDS provides life time service to all the inmates. We take complete care of individuals throughout their lifetime.
